Tell us a little about yourself. Imagine you're at a party and we just asked..."So, what you do and why do you do it?"
I've had a lot of lifetimes...not in the Shirley McLaine way, but in my multiple careers. My dad was a 45-year factory man, so I became 4-to-5 year career jumper. My first one was my longest - 17 years in the newspaper business. And I loved it for a long time. Then I hated it for a short time and bailed.

Since then, I've been a serial entrepreneur with multiple businesses. I've also been consultant for hire for the past 15 years.

I really what I do, but mostly I do what I do because I love where I live and what who I live with. Our goal is to have as much peace in our lives as you probably think we should living in a log house in the middle of the woods.

Internet Marketing affords that opportunity.

Randy died today...

I got a note today from my friend Ken McArthur that was titled "Randy died today..."

And quickly, I found myself sitting in front a 75 minute YouTube video of Randy Pausch giving his "Last Lecture" on Sep. 18, 2007.

You probably know the story...For some reason, I had resisted watching the video for months. It just got lower and lower on my list of things to do.

But there was the note from Ken. And there was Randy on my screen.
